Artist info: German painter, draftsman, etcher and illustrator (1864 Naumburg an der Saale to 1945 Weimar), studied at the Berlin Academy from 1880-85, studied at the Weimar Academy under Leopold von Kalckreuth from 1885-87, represented in numerous museums, under among others in the Kunstmuseum Weimar and the art collection of the Städel in Frankfurt am Main, active in Weimar, source: Thieme-Becker, Vollmer, Dressler and Internet.
